Carly Morris joined the Internet Society in April 2015. Her role is to help strengthen Internet Society's outreach and communications with stakeholders and members, facilitating their engagement and encouraging a collaborative, multistakeholder approach that ensures an Internet that is open, global, and accessible to all.
Carly brings a range of experience in the technology sector, including community and stakeholder relations, media, issues management and social media strategy. She has worked both in-house and in-agency in many regions around the world.
Starting out her career in New Zealand’s largest Telco, Carly has been addicted to the ever-evolving technology industry ever since. Prior to joining the Internet Society, she worked at London-based public relations firm, AxiCom, a member of the WPP group and a part of the wider Cohn & Wolfe global network of agencies. During her time there, she was an integral member of the Consumer Team representing a number of well known and start-up technology clients, including Microsoft Devices (formerly Nokia), Belkin Linksys and myApollo.
Carly is a dual citizen of New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She speaks English and Spanish and is working hard at brushing-up on her University French.
Carly is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
