Biography

Elizabeth Oluoch – Do Canto has been with the Internet Society since 2008 and has worked in various policy roles. She is Director of International Institutions and Relations within the External Engagement team where she assists in the development and implementation of strategies to expand and enhance the organization’s engagement in international/intergovernmental institutions. She has led various engagement and advocacy efforts in support of the organization's mission at various intergovernmental fora (ITU WTSA-2016, ITU WTDC-2017, ITU Plenipotentiary 2018 among others).

Further, working in tandem with Regional Vice Presidents and Project Leads she cultivates partnerships and relationships to maximize opportunities to advance the organization’s strategic priorities.

Prior to joining the Internet Society, Elizabeth was a donor tracker in the Resource Development Division at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) where she supported fundraising initiatives and events alongside CBC Members, leaders of corporations and foundations, CBCF Board, and other non-profit organizations.

Elizabeth holds a Master in Public Policy from the American University, Washington DC. She has lived in Eastern and Southern Africa and in Europe. Elizabeth is based in Reston, Virginia, United States.
