Video: Introduction to IPv6

The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) has put together a video that provides a simple high level introduction to IPv6. This video does not delve deep into technical specifications, or otherwise explain IPv6 in much technical depth. Instead it focuses mainly on delivering information to decision makers, those who need to understand the implications of the looming IPv4 address shortage, and other reasons for deploying IPv6.

It’s only 8 minutes long, but manages to fully outline the main reasoning behind IPv6 deployments, and the risks associated with not deploying IPv6. Watch this video if you need a basic introduction to IPv6, or want to understand better why your organization needs to deploy it now.
